How I use my Erin Condren Life Planner to stay organized

Keeping a busy family organized and on task is no small feat. There are a million apps and shared calendars and fancy techy ways to do this, but for me, I’m old school. I need to write things down to remember them. I like seeing our week and month come together. So for the last four years, I’ve used the Erin Condren Life Planner. It’s been crucial in keeping my sanity and our family to events on time – especially now that I’m back to work full time. 9 Whole30 Gadgets Essential for Success

Another week done of the Whole30 challenge. I have mixed emotions about it. A lot of the changes that we’ve made have gotten easier. Pulling together a full breakfast, adjusting my coffee to a non-sweetened creamer (don’t get me wrong, I still miss my Ripple Vanilla creamer), not having mac and cheese as an easy side dish. There were parts of this week though that were infinitely harder than the first 7 days. Pizza night this week was torture. I miss having a bowl of popcorn while the girls are napping and I get some work done. I MISS WINE. One thing that helped me get through it was to…

    Checking In – Whole30 challenge

At the beginning of the year, one of the goals that I set for myself was to break my sugar addiction. To be honest, I haven’t done a very good job of it. In fact, I think it’s probably the worst that it’s ever been. So while sitting at our favorite pizza place waiting for our food, my husband and I decided that we needed to make some changes in what we eat. I don’t want to go on a “diet”. I am happy in my body, I work out four times (or more) a week and have a healthy body mass percentage. I’m not looking for some quick fix…

    Checking In – Spring Break

This post contains some affiliate links.  It’s been awhile since I did a post on my goals for this year. I promise that even though I let the check in’s slip, I have been actively working on my goals that I set in January. I feel like spring break is kicking my butt and it’s made me realize just how much I value school and nap times to get anything done. My to do list is growing but I’ve been enjoying time with family at the beach and taking advantage of all the things San Diego has to offer this time of year. We just got home from the San…

    Checking In – Superbowl Edition

This post contains some affiliate links.  It’s February. Finally. Anyone else think that January always feels like the longest month ever? And I still feel like I didn’t have enough time to get everything done but that’s the beauty of keeping lists and tracking your goals. I’m looking back now and realizing that I got a LOT done. Plus we had a big celebration for Little Nugget’s first birthday. Did you see the post with the pictures? It’s here if you missed it. We also did this really fun and adorable teacher appreciation craft. Big Nugget’s teachers LOVED them and we had such a good time putting them together. Health/Reflection/Diet…
